During the season I learnt new skills in sound recording, lighting design, basics in board operation and programming, rigging and maintenance of lighting and sound equipment, and prop building. I was able to put all of these into practical use in several productions.

I have worked on various student productions ranging from shorts festivals to musicals, rigging lighting and sound equipment, and board operating.

I was responsible for purchase orders, account keeping, banking and maintenance, all of which ensured both the day to day and long term smooth running of the business.
I have:
· Received training in picture framing, gilding, and minor restoration which I have used to positive effect, producing work of an extremely high standard with great care and attention to detail.
· Put my creative skills to use in devising attractive seasonal window displays.
· Used successfully and safely, industrial machinery including mortice saws, compressors, and glass cutters.
· Extensive experience in dealing with customer queries and complaints which has taught me valuable communication skills enabling me to provide solutions and customer satisfaction in an efficient and friendly manner.
· Received paid private commissions as a colourist and restorer, and worked successfully to deadlines producing work of a high quality.

INTERESTS
I am a keen scout, having been an active member of both the Scout Association and the Student Scout and Guide Organisation for several years. I have worked with Beaver and Scout Units as an Assistant Leader and previously held a place on the Norfolk Network Committee for two years as Public Relations Officer. For my Venture unit I held a position of trust on the committee as Group Treasurer where I successfully managed the accounts for two years running. Whilst at university I served on the SSAGO committee for two years as Scout Link which involved communicating and liaising regularly with the local Scout organisations in order to retain a good working relationship with them.
I enjoy my sports and outdoor activities. I play tennis and badminton, and love to kayak. I like outdoor pursuits including camping, hiking, and pioneering.
I am a keen musician, having played classical, electronic and theatre organ since 1995. I also experiment with saxophone and bass guitar.
